Platelet Gel Technology (Autologous)

Platelet Gel is blood plasma with concenrated platelets and other growth factors created by pheresing platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the patient’s whole blood. The concentrated plateslets found in PRP contain huge reservoirs of bioactive proteins, including growth factors and signaling proteins that are vital to initiate and accelerate tissue repair and regeneration when introduced back into the body. The entire process takes less than 15 minutes and increases the concentration of platelets and growth factors up to 600%.

Features
  • The Harvest SmartPRrep2 utilizes dual spin technology and state-of-the-art sensors and controls coupled with “Smart” disposables which maximize platelet recovery while eliminating operator interaction.

  • Produces platelet characteristics similar to the requirements of the american association of blood banks for transfusable platelet.

  • Consistently produces viable platelets increased 6x to 8x or greater above baseline levels providing the highest concentration of platelets and consistent reproducibility of any product avilable.

  • Continuously provides the necessary concentrations of platelets, growth factors, and white blood cells vital for intiating and accelerating tissue repair and regeneration.

Benefits
  • Increases the concetration of bioactive proteins which forms the foundtion of tissue engineering and regeneration.

  • Accelerates wound healing.

  • Promates development of new blood vessels and soft tissue.

  • Decreases post operative pain and swelling.

  • Decreases rate of infection.

  • Decreases oozing and bleeding.

  • Prevents surgical adhesions.
